One thing that's really a pain to deal with when working in a 'big' multi-tenant office building is dealing with alarms. ANY alarm, whether it be the annual/biannual/quarterly check for the fire alarm or a tornado drill, to the actual alarms that you never find out the cause of.
Not to say we get them that often (when I'm here, anyway)... but we're, of course, on the upper floor(s) since we own the building, so there's lots of stairs and crowding to deal with. Just a pain.
A fire alarm went off today, just in time for lunch. Three fire trucks were out front with guys in gear, so it wasn't just a drill... but do you think there's been an indication of what caused it or if it there was truly a fire on one of the floors? Of course not.

yeah, those are just a pain. Our sensors here at work are SO sensitive, and our one neighbor doesn't like anyone on his grass, so if you're on my side of the building, you have to go around to the other side of the building once you get out the doors. Big meanie. At least I'm part of our "floor warden" group, so I get to go to the meetings and know what's going on.
